The owner, Lynn Young, had been a pharmacist for 30+ years. After retiring from the pharmacy world, she decided to pursue her passion of being able to create while still being able to work with people. Lynn learned about engraving, etching and marking through her husband’s family business – a machine shop. They have a laser machine which they use to mark parts. For 15+ years, she enjoyed creating and engraving unique gifts for her family, colleagues and friends using their laser machine.
Lynn and her husband are motorcycle enthusiasts. Their goal is to ride through all the US continental states on their Road Glide Limited. They have currently gone through about 70% of the states. Lynn’s husband, George, enjoys having different motorcycle chrome parts being engraved to make our bikes personal and unique.
In 2023, Lynn purchased her own laser machine and formed Focus Laser Works LLC, located in Zimmerman Minnesota. She enjoys the versatility the engraving business provides while still being able to work with people.
